I went to Tel to help out at the Temple of Kord,  there’s been a lot of strangeness going on there.   Attacks that nobody sees or remembers…..

We heard fighting and we all ran that way.   TONS of undeadders…  but really wierd ones…  they just turned to dusties!

We wound up tracking them out towards falmorian…  past the gobbos (grovel’s farm wasn’t bothered) The mages decided that the undeadders were all just illusions cause the light didn’t hit them right.  We tracked the magic to be coming from an old deserted temple out in the desert, where we found a HUGE hole after fighting lots of beasties.  I turned into a little fey and flew down to check it out…  found lots of fire beasties and a portal.  I flew back up and reported my findings…  Ara made the rope I had fire proof and tied it sos everyone could climb down.

We all climbed down the rope and won against the fire beasties,  and then went in the portal…  where we found this guy Ala something or another,  who thought he was a lich, but then healie spells didn’t work on him.  He had this bottle that Velesti wanted to hold,  but then it brokded and this big fella came out… Ghazi!  General of the Sultan of Brass! he caloled himself an efreet.  Not long afterwards he poofed and dissappeared.

Mister Licky though said something really funny…  I’ll pray for your home??

Wonder what he meant by that?

7/26/10  a conversation transcribed

Hiya Frenny….  I just need to talk to the boss a minute
 *giggles and heads into the curtain,  closing it behind herself*   Oh!  the door was unlocked …  just thought you should know
I hopes that she came to see you….   I’m not sure though cause she didn’t pick up my note….
 it was still on the table when we stopped by….
 welll….  Lexy and Jay weren’t so sure that she could read anymore…
*plops down and gets comfey*   Morgan though said that Ro might be travelling in Arkaz or Avlis…  those are more planes incase you didn’t know….
And the only thing that I learned from anyone regarding what happened to Ro….
was that air elementals came and took her away….
she came back with lotsa brokeded bones….  and  funny in the head….
Morgan says she was worser then,  but I didn’t see her…..
The air elementals are granny’s tricks….
I know that much….   *sighs*
I’ve gotten more messages too….  mainly around Mirtho….   well only around Mirtho….  that’s where this mirror seems to work bestest
I did go out and get my own mirror…  cause I thinks the messages are directed at me…. and it really spooked Isania to have it happen in her shop….
I don’t have a mirror in my room…  I know I’m cute enough without having to stare at myself all the time…
I did find this great spot with a low wall and a tree there….  and sometimes I get messages on it….
 I think it’s two more since I last saw you
 The first one was HELP
 then after I found the tree and wall spot,  and bought a huge heavy mirror to lug around….   I got another one…
 that one just spelled out  LOSTT  *spells it out for him*
 The message I got today spelled out ShaDOW  *spells it out again*   I don’t know if the way the letters are written mean anything…  but some were little and some were big letters
 Someone is losted in the shadow plane….  and we have to helps….
I really try not to ignore direct orders….  but,  I really am going to try to gather up a search party,  and I would rather have your helps with it than your wrath.
 I did write the word who on the mirror this morning,  I’ll give it another couple of days…  to try and find out more….  but we have to go look, before whoever it is goes totally bonkers being stuck there

The Master responds with demanding she let him know if she finds out who, and told her to come back before she goes off to the plane. He’s not pleased with her idea but she could tell he’s contemplating going with her if she decides to do this fool thing.

I got to the tower to visit Lexy and update him on the mirror news, just in time for Nerice’s boss(????)  a high up eyeball in the CO who came all the way from Sigil to scry for Sara-sue.   Strengrit Ro was her name.

Nerice gave her Sara-sue’s brush,  and the cloak that she made for egil, and brought Patch to meet her too.  I showed off my holy necklace from Olidammara too,  just incase that would helps cause Sara-sue had one really similar to it.

Strengrit Ro concentrated for a longer time then fell down, like as if something hit her!  When she came too,  she said just as she was getting a clear picture,  she got smacked out…  but she did see a snowy city.  So we kinda thought that Sara-sue was back and somewhere…..

Egil ran out the door, and we all wound up chasing him to that awful city…  with the meanie people and the store that has a sign up in the window offering to buy dead fey.   We met with some meanie man, to see if he had her,  and he offered up two little girls eventually for lexy to take to an inn room and do bad things.   Lexy said he paid for them for a treat for Jay….   in really,  Jay wound up convincing them to leave with him and rescuing them from the meanie man.  but sara sue wasnt there.

I went to pray for guidance,  since we weren’t too far from the temple, Nerice came with me and we prayed for a while and left an offering.  Then we joined the others and headed to the fey grove to see if we could get some clues.

Lem was as helpful as ever…  she didn’t have any clue as to why queenie would drop off Sara sue for drinks and shopping before she went home.  But with that we raced off to bastion… at least Lem sent us to the right city.

Walking into the inn there….  there was this beautiful lady dressed all in silver with dark dark hair and silvery eyes.  As I got closer though,  you could see the imprint of a hand burned on her cheek…  it was all faded and healed but you could see it.

Dan’s idea was right…. time moved differently… but way faster…

Sara-sue thought we were crazy…. she said her name was Moon Shadow…  and we tried to convince her of who we were, and well  that didn’t go so well,  and she got ascared of us.   She said something to me in fey,  Fijihi andiva? & Keris ni parduan?   Well I found out later that it was high folk fey, but I never heard that before…  back when I was growing up,  everyone just spoke common.

She still thought we were crazy,  till she held Egil’s cloak and she did the thing Lexy does…  holds it and closed her eyes…  then she started crying, cause she knew she made it,  and the memories started coming back to her.

Everyone was trying to talk at once,  so for a change,  I just kinda hung back and made pretty background musics for them.   Eventually we took her home to the tower.

Lexy Jay and I went to Morgans cave today to look for Ro again,  my teacher still wants to see her before he’ll help go find the other parts of her.

Once we got there,  a little singed around the edges, I found my note for Ro still on the table.   Lexy swears he’s seen her recently,  so I shouldn’t be too concerned.   I’m still worried, I haven’t seen her since I started getting the mirror notes….

A whole bunches of people were hanging out in the tailor shop tonight.   It’s a good thing that I got my own mirror and am watching for messages other than in there.

I updated folks on the latest messages,  and then we went to battle creepie crawlies of doom.

Lexy, Scel, Nerice, Yana, Egil, Jay. Frieda and I all went to visiting Lem today to see if we could find anything out about when Queenie-poo would be home.

Lem was as useful as always,  just being half nekked and flirting with the boys.  She complained about how hard it was being regent,  and she was wondering what was taking them so long….  and no she didn’t know how to make a portal to there,  but there really should be folks somewhere that do.   (Read between the lines here that Lem was sorta useless for the most part on this visit).

After we left,  I went and tried to chat up the fey by Takaii.  They seem ok with wanting to charge a lolli toll to let peoples pass without attacking them.   Now I just have to really work with Lexy to figure out how we’re gonna make the lollis.

Today I went and hung out with Cali at Olidammara’s temple,  and I prayed extra hard that he watches over Sara-sue,  I kinda am not the bestest at praying,  that’s really Jay’s job,  but I do my bestest.  I got a little tipsey from drinking some wine as I was talking and fell asleep next to the alter.

When I woke up, I wandered around for a while just aimlessly shooting anything that looked at me funny and cried while I was doing it,  then I sucked it up, and dried off my face and headed towards home.

Jay and Dan’eth were at the fire. (It was really gooder to see Dan,  just like I thought, I haven’t seen her a whole lot since she got married)  I filled them in on the queens trickery (Worthy of Loki if I do say so myself) and ‘splained to Dan how worried I was, cause it had been a couple of days already.   Dan pointed out that it probably maybe had been only a couple of hours for Sara-sue, because time moves differently on different planes.

But Dan also knows me well enough to know that when I’m really upset,  I like to go hit meanies,  so we (Me, Jay, Dan, Frieda, and we met up with Yana) went to go see if we could find some arrows from the blackfire clan.

What I prayed:

Olidammara…  I know I’m not really good at this praying stuff….  but I need you to please look out for Sara-sue….  that meanie the Fey Queen took her somewhere and fooled all of us by not letting us come with… supposedly the queen took sara-sue to the fey realm….  but I’m not sure…  I couldn’t get through the stupid portal she made…. and my paper spells didn’t let me make another one to follow them…. I don’t know what to do or how to help….   Egil is all bummed out….  and I haven’t seen nerice…  but I would bet that she is worried too…
*her wings droop as she prays*   I let them all down by not being able to get in the dumb portal…. I don’t know how else to help….   I don’t even know that the fey realm is where the queen really took Sara-sue…  she was probably fibbing about that too… A party right now is kinda what everyone needs I think,  but nobody will party while she’s gone…. I’m gonna try to make some candy to have ready for when she gets home…. will you watch over her please for us….  you’re the only one who can right now Olidammara…..   help her get home safe and sound please,  and then we can have a bigger party to celebrate  please…..

I should pay more attention and slip my notes in as I write them,  but I’m backlogged again…  so much going on everywhere!

I was at the keep today.   Lexy and Egil had asked me to go with Sara-sue to the fey realm to make sure that queenie doesn’t pull any tricks with her.   I was down hanging out with them in the hall chit chatting when the gong got hit.   It was time, queenie was here.

We all trekked upstairs and outside.   Frieda and Jay were there…   Queenie pricked her finger to make a portal, and I took Sara-sue’s hand and we stepped into it….  poof… sara-sue was gone.   Queenie taunted me some before she poofed away.  The portal was brokded!!  Only one person could go through it!

Right about then Scel came up.   I looked in my bag, and did what I think Dan would do in the same place.    I took out a bunch of fey wine and made a big circle…  then I sprinkled dusts on it…  then I read a GATE paper over it.  (One of the spells I have to be really super careful about casting, cause it’s SUPER POWERFUL!) But nothing happened….  I tried again and still nothing.  Scel used his amazing brain power to try and figure out where queenie took Sara Sue,  but all he could figure out is that it was a really unique portal,  and it went to another plane.

Her bloods probably had something to do with its.  Lexy said something about ley lines and how they must all be in alignment to get there,  So we all wandered off trying to think of where ley lines would be, and decided that we would find Sara sue at all costs.

I knew deep in my heart of hearts that the queen would try and trick us,  and I was kicking myself for not coming up with a plan to trick her back before she feynabbed sara-sue.

I said I was gonna go talk to some peoples,  but I really just wanted to go home and sit in my fountain in my garden and cry for a while,  cause I let everybodies down by not going with.

Well now that I have all my letters tucked in here, well most of them… err some of them, the important ones,  I should start writing.   I’ve tied all the candy wrappers together with the last of my pink ribbons,  so till I get more,  I have to make due with these.

Aside from that, I figure that I should write down somewhere what’s going on lately… mostly I’ve been concerned with messages that I’ve been getting written on mirrors.  The first time,  it happened in the tailor shop and seriously spooked Isania.  I was checking my new pockets out in the mirror,  you know,  making sure that they didn’t poof too much.  And thens where the shadow was hitting on the mirror,  the word HELP really slowly appeared on the mirror.  Even with a true seeing spell I couldn’t see anyone.

I realized how freaked out she was,  so I didn’t try to get any more messages in there.  I went over to Celestial Aspirations.  They only had mirrors in one size…  huge, but can fit in a pocket,  and maybe an ogre could lug one around with out the aid of a magic bag.   So that’s a long winded way of saying I got one of my own.  Right behind Jen & Cor’s house,  they have a little yard,  I’m allowed to hang out that…  Jen never told me I couldn’t after she didn’t need a sidekick no more…. well there’s this little wall that wraps around the yard,  and a tree grows in the corner… 

So I started setting up my mirror there at times when I thought would mostly be shadowed.   Dusk and dawn,  those really are the bestest times for shadows,  and it’s easiest to travel in them at dawn and dusk.  Well  there’s been a couple of days where I didn’t set up my mirror there… like when I was staying at the tower of Iron will for a couple of days…  well I kinda seem to spend a lot of time there these days,  but that’s another story for another day….

I don’t seem to get the messages anywhere other than in Mirtho,  so I’ll have to be at home in the wee hours of the night…

I’ve gotten two more messages since I started setting up outside.  The second one was “I Lostt”   and the one today read “ShaDOW”.   So I’m pretty sure that someone is losted in the shadow plane, but my teacher started grumping at me that only a fool would go there, and he was even more mad that I was getting messages,  cause that meant that I went there before.    But in my defense,  when I did go there before,  it wasn’t really by choice…  I mean the shadow plane totally took over the whole celestial keep while I was inside…  we had to figure out how to get out.

Lexy, Soleis, Jay and Frieda are the folks that I’ve run into mostly lately, and they know about the messages.  Morgan and Lexy kinda confirmed that Ro has been around,  at first I really did think it was Ro that was lost,  cause she hasn’t been so right in the head since she got nabbed by probably granny’s elementals.

I went and told my teacher today what I have learned so far,  and kinda told him to helps me, or i’m just gonna go there with my friends and try to help who’s losted….  hopefully he won’t kick me out of my lessons for it…  I still have lots I need to learn from him still.

Anywho…  I kinda have to get going now…  there some investigating that still needs to be done.   Later I’ll add in my notes on what’s going on with Sara-sue and the fey queen and all that….

Dearest, dearest Legs

Seylek has finally got a license (or whatever it was that was delaying things) and we have settled on dates to have our bonding ceremonies. The first will be May 29th at 21:00 GMT in the Fairy Gardens, just east of Elysia. Seylek’s already publicly announced that one.
The “proper” one will be held a week later at 23:00 GMT, June 5th on the green in Mirtho Rest. Could you pretty, pretty please design one of your wonderful posters announcing the second ceremony and send candy wrapper (which of course I’ll replace by bringing you home a bag full of candy) invitations to all our friends. Please include the following small line at the bottom of the invite.
“While crying is optional, blushing will be compulsory. If you aren’t prepared to get red cheeks or are simply too dead to manage it then this invitation is not for you.”
